: The right Beval bit provides comfort in the horse's mouth by distributing the pressure points. It acts globally on the tongue and bars. It is recommended for horses with a sensitive palate or a flat palate. The straight bit allows the rider to obtain a symmetrical action. Its straight barrel encourages the horse to come to rest on the bit. It is recommended for horses that tend to shy away from contact, dig their backs in, but also for horses with a sensitive palate or flat palate. The barrel is shaped to prevent the horse from connecting with the bit.
The Beval allow you to hang the reins in a fixed way on the top or bottom ring or with rings on the main ring and the bottom ring. It can also be used as a lifter. It is very much used for young riders because it offers good control and limited leverage on the horse's neck while allowing good lateral control.
Material
Resin : Resin offers a softer contact that encourages relaxation. Flexible and light, resin bits are soft, suitable for young horses for breaking in or sensitive mouths. Resin bits stay at room temperature. They offer a soft contact but are less tender and thick than a rubber bit.
Caution : This material is vulnerable and is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear and tear due to biting. We strongly advise against using a bit that is too damaged, as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
