Expert opinion : The MacGenis Universal bit from Privilège is an anatomically designed single ring bit that offers good relaxation with its copper rollers. Unlike the double jointed which acts on the tongue, the single jointed acts on the palate and the sides of the tongue. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. The Privilège MacGenis bit is slightly rounded on the edges of the barrel, which gives it a stronger action. It can be recommended for horses that are relatively easy to handle but not very sensitive in the mouth or with a hollow palate. 

The Universal bit has a lowering effect. The reins can be hung on the bottom ring or with rings on the middle and bottom ring. It can be used with rings (not included with the bit) or a second pair of reins (not included with the bit) according to the rider's preference.
