Unlike the double jointed which acts on the tongue, the single jointed acts on the palate and the sides of the tongue. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. The Privilège MacGenis bit is slightly rounded on the edges of the barrel, which gives it a stronger action. It can be recommended for horses that are relatively easy to handle but not very sensitive in the mouth or with a hollow palate. 

The Beval allow you to hang the reins in a fixed way on the top or bottom ring or with rings on the main ring and the bottom ring. It can also be used as a lifter.
