Fager Milton is a Double-Jointed bradoon bit with tongue relief. Our bits are designed to have a 100% smooth surface, including around the joints. The joints are designed and constructed to never push against the palate or sit on top of the bars. All these clever features result in a highly comfortable bit that naturally fits the contours of the tongue.Fager's smooth joints are designed to never press against the sides of the palate or create uneven pressure over the bars, making the pressure over the tongue more gentle.The small tongue relief, combined with the smooth joints, makes this bit a good option for horses with sensitive tongues who can open their mouths, pull the reins, and move the tongue around.
Loose Rings are designed to move independently to the mouthpiece. This allows the horse more freedom to use his tongue, allowing them to place the pressure from the mouthpiece either higher or lower, whichever they prefer. Loose Rings are a good choice for a horse that can be slightly stiff or hard in the mouth. The bradoon rings are smaller than our traditional snaffle rings to fit perfectly with a weymouth on a double bridle but can be used as a snaffle alone.
