MARCUS Sweet Iron show Pelham

: The MARCUS Pelham bit is a sweet iron bit with a tongue passage and free rings. The double bit has a slight curve to give more room for the horse's tongue. The central break has no roughness thanks to its fine finish, which limits the risk of discomfort on the tongue and palate. In addition to the leverage effect, the pelham's legs protect the commissures from any risk of pinching and provide a good frame. The pelham bit offers leverage on the nape of the neck and on the mendible via the curb chain. It is interesting to use on horses that are a little strong and/or in the blood. The special feature of the MARCUS is the two free rings of the Pelham which are usually fixed on the limbs. This makes it possible to soften the contact between the hand and the mouth. The rings limit the risk of too much contact between the horse and the bit thanks to a slight discontinuity in the tension and encourage the horse to stand upright. It can be used in 4 reins or in alliances like a classic pelham. It is therefore an interesting bit for strong and/or fairly hot horses with sensitive mouths and contact.
