Description
The Pessoa bit with rollers and tongue port is designed for horses that tend to lean on the rider's hand or work with a downhill balance. Its lowering action helps improve balance while providing additional control when needed.
The mouthpiece features a large tongue port that completely frees the tongue and avoids pressure on the palate. This design promotes better breathing, improved tongue positioning and a more relaxed mouth during work.
The integrated rollers stimulate mouthing activity and encourage jaw relaxation. They can also help occupy horses that tend to become fixed in the contact or lean heavily on the bit.
The Pessoa rings allow several rein configurations: fixed on the lower ring, with roundings or with two pairs of reins. This versatility makes it possible to adjust the action of the bit precisely to the needs of both horse and rider.
The combination of the tongue port and rollers provides greater comfort while maintaining the specific Pessoa action to improve balance and responsiveness.
Material
German Silver is an alloy composed of 65% copper, 23% zinc and 12% nickel. Widely used in bit manufacturing, it promotes salivation and relaxation thanks to its high copper content while providing excellent durability and resistance for everyday use.
