The foam bit can be particularly useful for horses with very sensitive mouths. Aloe vera may even be applied to the mouthpiece. It can also be suitable for horses that resist taking contact or stretching, thanks to the combination of the mouthpiece's thickness and flexibility. The Wahlsten sponge bit is made of foam that appears thick when new but compresses with use. It is especially recommended for horses with sores, injuries, or extremely sensitive mouths.

Caution : This material is vulnerable and is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear and tear due to biting. We strongly advise against using a bit that is too damaged, as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
