The Bombers single-jointed cable gag bit is particularly suitable for horses that need improved balance and connection while maintaining a mobile and comfortable mouthpiece.

Its single-jointed cable mouthpiece sits between a conventional jointed mouthpiece and a flexible one. Its shape distributes pressure across the tongue, bars and corners of the mouth. When rein pressure is applied, the cable flexes and increases the action on the bars and corners before returning to its initial position when the contact is released. It also allows a more independent action from each rein.

The Sweet Iron mouthpiece naturally oxidises when exposed to moisture. This oxidation encourages salivation and can help improve acceptance of the bit and contact.

The gag system works with specific cheekpieces running through the dedicated rings. Its action influences the horse's balance and encourages the forehand to lift. The loose rings provide greater mobility and create a slightly less direct contact.

Sweet Iron naturally oxidises when exposed to moisture in the horse's mouth and to air. This oxidation creates a slightly sweet taste that encourages salivation and can help improve acceptance of the bit and contact. Oxidation will gradually alter the appearance of the mouthpiece.
