The Elliptical Dressage is shorter, increasing tongue and bar pressure. The mouth pieces are curved comfy to soften the bar pressure. The mouthpieces and lozenge are ground flat to distribute the pressure evenly over tongue and bars, which together with the offset links further reduce pressure points. Allowing for a more accepted contact, relaxing and extending nose slightly.The Medium Ring Gag is stronger than the usual Loose Ring and Eggbutt as the ropes going through the rings create leverage which will exert more pressure through the mouthpiece whilst at the same time introducing more poll pressure. The Medium Ring Gag creates less leverage making it kinder than the big ring version. All our bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it: oxidises easily encourages salivation helps bit acceptance is warm and sweet.This one is interesting to help the horse to make contact.
