Description
The bit has the particularity of using special uprights that pass through two rings perpendicular to the rings of the bit. This feature allows it to be used with two or four reins or with rings. The snaffle reins will then have a traditional lifting effect, and the reins attached to the special posts, a lowering effect.
Material
Composition of the alloy : Leather is a natural material very pleasant for the horse which stimulates chewing and salivation.
Advantages :
- Allows to avoid the cold contact of some metallic bits.
- The production of saliva softens the leather and makes it more pleasant for the horse.
Maintenance advice : The leather should be oiled with a vegetable oil every 5 uses to keep the leather supple.
Caution : This material is vulnerable, it is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear related to bites. We strongly advise against using a bit that is too damaged, as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
