Material: Sensogan, alloy of copper, manganese and zinc. Manganese hardens the cooper without influencing the natural oxidation process of it. Due to the manganese, the alloy gets by with less copper content but achieves an equivalent oxidation behaviour as Aurigan.
Material
Sensogan : This alloy is composed of copper, manganese and zinc. It is the new non-toxic alloy developed by Sprenger, which has been extremely quickly accepted by horses. Sensogan has improved properties but also a completely new appearance. Unlike Aurigan, it oxidizes less violently and salivation is better regulated throughout the working session. In addition, it is less tarnishing : the shine lasts longer and this alloy is easier to maintain.
