: The Umbria straight rubber bit provides comfort in the horse's mouth by distributing pressure points. It acts globally on the tongue and the bars. It is recommended for horses with a sensitive palate or a flat palate. The straight bit allows the rider to obtain a symmetrical action. Its straight barrel encourages the horse to come and rest on the bit. It is recommended for horses that tend to shy away from contact, dig their backs in, but also for horses with a sensitive palate or flat palate. The free rings offer a soft contact to the mouth. They allow a slight indirect contact compared to fixed rings, which makes it easier to play in the fingers and limit excessive tension.
Material
Rubber : This alloy is more comfortable for horses than metal. It encourages horses to sit on the bit.
