Expert opinion : The roller olive bit is a double bit that offers a simple contact. It allows a better relaxation of your horse's mouth by a smoother transmission of your aids. Unlike the single bit which acts on the palate, the double bit acts on the tongue without causing pain. The copper roller allows the horse to relax and concentrate more on the mouthpiece. It also helps to avoid passing the tongue in some horses. This bit is suitable for horses that have difficulty relaxing. A special feature of the snaffle bit is the use of special posts that pass through two rings perpendicular to the bit rings. This feature allows it to be used with two or four reins or with rings. The snaffle reins will then have a traditional lifting effect, and the reins attached to the special uprights will often have a lowering effect. It helps to improve the horse's balance by bringing the tip of the horse's nose closer to the rider. Here the lifter is combined with an olive bit, i.e. it has oval-shaped rings. They only rotate along one axis of rotation, which avoids any pinching of the corners of the mouth.

Resin : Happy Mouth offers a non-toxic polyurethane resin that gives the horse a lasting apple taste to help with bit acceptance. Resin bits are soft and light, suitable for young horses for breaking in or for sensitive mouths. Resin bits stay at room temperature. They offer a soft contact but are less tender and thick than a rubber bit. The apple taste encourages chewing.

Caution : This material is vulnerable and is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear and tear due to biting. We strongly advise against using a bit that is too damaged, as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
