With this anatomical bit, the pressure is distributed between the tongue and the horse's bars. It is suitable for horses that do not respond to normal double or single bits and that are strong on contact, and for certain horses that tend to lean on the bit. It transmits pressure directly to the tongue and lower jaw. It is stable in the horse's mouth and soft in the corners. The verdun provides lateral control.
Material
Sensogan : This alloy is composed of copper, manganese and zinc. It is the new non-toxic alloy developed by Sprenger, which has been extremely quickly accepted by horses. Sensogan has improved properties but also a completely new appearance. Unlike Aurigan, it oxidizes less violently and salivation is better regulated throughout the working session. In addition, it is less tarnishing : the shine lasts longer and this alloy is easier to maintain.
