Description
The Feeling single-jointed Dee ring bit with slots is suited to horses that are relatively straightforward in the mouth and benefit from stable contact and a simple action. It may be suitable for horses that are not overly sensitive around the palate or have sufficient room within the mouth.
The single-jointed mouthpiece acts mainly on the bars and tongue and, depending on the horse's mouth conformation and rein action, may create pressure towards the palate. This configuration allows each rein aid to be transmitted distinctly.
Made from stainless steel, this bit provides good durability and maintains a smooth surface through regular use.
The D-shaped Dee rings provide greater stability than loose rings. Their straight sides enhance lateral guidance and make the aids more directional, while helping to reduce the risk of pinching at the corners of the mouth.
The slots keep the cheekpieces in a fixed position on the rings and provide a more direct transmission of the rein aids.
