The Bombers Williams Flexible Mullen straight bit is particularly suitable for sensitive horses that may lack stability in the contact, need additional support with steering, or tend to open the head-neck angle.

Its straight, flexible mouthpiece promotes an even and symmetrical contact from the rider's hand to the horse's mouth. The jointless design limits pinching and encourages the horse to settle into a steadier contact.

The soft synthetic mouthpiece distributes pressure evenly over the tongue and bars. It provides an interesting alternative for horses that do not readily accept metal bits.

The Williams swivel cheeks allow the action to be adjusted according to rein placement. Attaching the reins to the centre ring removes the leverage effect, while using the lower ring creates leverage and poll pressure, encouraging flexion while providing additional support for steering and lateral control.
