Eggbut bit: simple mouthpiece quite soft with no risk of pincening the corner of the lips. Rings don't slide, which makes the action more direct. French mouth bits: Avoids pinching of the tongue. More comfortable for the horse, the action is balanced on both sides by the central part. Avoids any action on the palate. This is a very simple eggbutt bit that suits perfectly for older horses on a daily basis. The tongue port is good for horses that have a thick tongue.
