: Typically a Weymouth applies pressure to the Poll, curb and mouth. By innovating a spring loaded purchase we have introduced a relaxed performance. Softening the curb and poll pressures. The Happy Tongue Straight is a solid mouth bit which is ported to relieve tongue pressure but is not curved. This makes it slightly harsher than the curved Happy Tongue. Swivel version offer more comfort over the tongue. The happy tongue is a solid mouthpiece uniquely ported to give maximum tongue relief. The swivel mouthpiece can rotate on the horizontal, allowing the cheek piece to move independently, thereby the horse can set where it finds the mouthpiece most comfortable... removing tongue pressure.

Material
Sweet Iron : Sweet Iron alloy oxidizes upon contact with moisture in the mouth and air. The oxidation brings a sweet taste that naturally stimulates the production of saliva. This corresponds to the effect of a sugar that is given to the horse at the beginning of the session but allows to diffuse this sweet taste throughout the work. Therefore, this alloy allows a good acceptance of the bit and helps the horse to make contact with the mouthpiece. The oxidation modifies the aspect of the bit during the sessions.
