Description
Baucher bit: Classic, slight lowering effect, with an action on the poll of the horse's head. It brings a light leverage action that will get the horse to take a better contact and to be in a better working attitude. The Waterford mouthpiece splits the contact points and so prevents the horse from leaning on the bit. The action will get the horse to lightly come on the bit and change its head-neck posture. This bit makes the horse lighter on its bit. Covered with leather, the bit will be very appealing to the horse and can help with relaxation and bit acceptance. It suits young horses.
Material
Material: Virtually every horse like the feeling of leather in its mouth and reacts with increased chewing activity and more salivation. The more salivation, the better slides the bit in the mouth what means an increased well being of your horse. The anatomical shape of the mouthpiece adjusts when wet even more perfect to the anatomy of the horse's mouth. Extremely well suited is our leather mouthpiece for young and highly sensitive horses, disliking all other materials. This mouthpiece are tanned vegetable and stitched by hand.
German silver breakage: 80% copper, 12% zinc, 8% silicon. Branches in stainless steel. This composition allows a very good relaxation of the mouth of your horse.
Tips : Prior to the first use please soak the mouthpiece thoroughly in cooking oil. Please repeat since the leather seems dry to you. Prior to every use please soak briefly in cold water and rinse after use because saliva can erode the leather quickly.
Caution : This material is vulnerable and is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear and tear due to biting. We strongly advise against using a bit that is too damaged, as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
