Inno Sense hackamore combi - Trust

The Trust straight resin tandem bit is designed for strong or energetic horses requiring additional control, particularly those struggling to maintain consistent contact with jointed bits.

Its straight mouthpiece distributes pressure across the tongue and bars while avoiding direct contact with the palate. It provides symmetrical rein action and encourages consistent contact without pinching associated with joints.

Trust Innosense resin features a smooth, soft surface, making it suitable for sensitive horses or those producing little saliva. The flexible version follows mouth movements more easily and may encourage the horse to seek contact, while the rigid version provides greater mouthpiece stability.

The tandem combines the action of a bit and a hackamore, applying pressure to the nose, mouth and lower jaw through the curb chain. Available with short or long shanks, it allows the leverage effect to be adapted, while curb chain adjustment influences the intensity of the pressure applied.

This bit requires precise rein aids and careful adjustment to avoid excessive tension. A curb chain cover may improve comfort for sensitive horses.

Resin: Trust Innosense resin is a food-grade synthetic material with a smooth, soft surface. It provides comfortable contact, particularly for horses with sensitive mouths or limited saliva production. Innosense mouthpieces feature an internal metal reinforcement that contributes to their strength. The flexible version follows mouth movements more easily, while the rigid version provides greater mouthpiece stability.

Warning: This material is vulnerable and is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty against wear caused by chewing. It is strongly advised not to use a severely damaged bit, as it may injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
