The Harcour Pessoa bit is a single bit. It allows you to relax your horse's mouth so that you can transmit your aids more gently. Unlike the double bit, which acts on the tongue, the single bit acts on the palate. It's important to know that a horse's palate is a sensitive area that shouldn't be neglected. It can be recommended for horses that are relatively easy in the mouth, not very sensitive on the palate or with a hollow palate. The Pessoa bit has a lowering effect. The reins can be fixed to the lower ring or attached with rings to the middle and lower rings.
