Expert opinion : The pelham is a compromise between a bridle and a snaffle. It has a leverage effect and can be used with one or two reins. The limb is very short and offers the possibility to have very precise hand actions with small hand actions. The curb chain hooks (included) protect the horse from being pinched. Stübben's "Easy Control" bits are double snaffle bits that freeze into a straight bit when the horse freezes on the hand, allowing for more effective control. Then when the horse returns to a lighter contact, the bit softens. The use of the comfort/uncomfort effect allows the horse to understand on its own.
Stainless steel : Stainless steel is a commonly used alloy which has the particularity of not oxidising. Due to their nature, stainless steel jaws are very strong and do not get damaged over time.
