The TURTLE TOP two-ring bit is a double snaffle bit. It is particularly interesting for horses with a sensitive tongue and/or palate or with a flat palate. Its shape favours an action on the bars and commissures before the action on the tongue. It nevertheless offers a simultaneous action on the whole mouth. It can be particularly interesting for a sensitive horse that tends to shake its head with a more traditional bit. The break is flat to avoid a strong action on the palate. The mobility of the snaffle prevents the horse from freezing on the bit. The free rings offer a soft contact to the mouth. They allow a slight indirect contact compared to fixed rings, which makes it easier to play in the fingers and limits excessive tension. There are two ring sizes to choose from, depending on use, either as a single bit or in combination with a bridle bit (55mm).
