Rênes éthologiques

Ethological reins are a specific type of equestrian equipment designed to encourage natural communication between rider and horse. Based on the principles of ethological equitation, these reins encourage a subtle, respectful dialogue based on mutual understanding and sensitivity. They enable riders to refine their aids, minimising the pressure exerted on the horse's head and developing a lighter, more intuitive contact.

Made from soft, lightweight materials such as rope or supple leather, ethological reins are appreciated for their comfort and their ability to transmit clear indications with a minimum of constraint. They are particularly suited to natural horsemanship, free-riding and training methods that emphasise gentleness and listening to the horse.

These reins also make it easier for the horse to learn to respond to fine, precise aids, making daily work more pleasant and harmonious for both animal and rider.
