: The JULIA Baby Fulmer is a double bit with a central roller. This sweet iron and copper roller bit is particularly suitable for horses that may pull a little on the bit, sensitive and stiff horses that may have difficulty in making regular contact. The tongue barrel creates space for the tongue. The Baby Fulmer's side needles offer the horse extra stability while helping to solve steering problems. The roller also helps horses focus on the rider's aids. The combination of sweet iron and copper creates a taste in the mouth that is easily accepted by even the most sensitive or difficult horses. It works effectively to increase acceptance and consistent contact. The loose rings provide a soft contact without leverage and allow easy play in the fingers to relax the horse's forehand.
Material
Sweet Iron : Sweet Iron alloy oxidizes upon contact with moisture in the mouth and air. The oxidation brings a sweet taste that naturally stimulates the production of saliva. This corresponds to the effect of a sugar that is given to the horse at the beginning of the session but allows to diffuse this sweet taste throughout the work. Therefore, this alloy allows a good acceptance of the bit and helps the horse to make contact with the mouthpiece. The oxidation modifies the aspect of the bit during the sessions.
