: The Beris weymouth bit with tongue port is a mouthpiece that offers maximum space for the tongue. Indeed, the shape of its barrel frees the tongue muscle, allowing better mobility and more relaxation. The pressure is distributed more evenly on the tongue and will solicit the bars and commissures a little more. This mouthpiece is particularly suitable for horses that cannot tolerate pressure on the tongue and react by shaking their head, for example. The Hard Mouthpiece is ideal for horses with a sensitive mouth, but who tend to press slightly. The Soft bit is ideal for horses with a sensitive mouth that need to rest on the hand.
The Weymouth bit, mainly used by dressage riders, is to be coupled with a snaffle bit. The leverage action varies depending on the size of the legs of the snaffle bit. Its action can be amplified with the adjustment of the curb chain (more or less strong with its angle). It is recommended to use curb chain protectors for sensitive horses.

Material
Resin : Beris bits are made of resin, with a specially smooth surface that allows the bit to slide into the horse's mouth without the "gumming" effect that traditional resin bits can cause. This material is so smooth and soft to the touch that it can even be considered for horses that have difficulty salivating. This resin is made from a plastic material for food use. A real asset to obtain chewing and a good acceptance of the bit thanks to its soft touch and its ambient temperature.
