What does the Waldhausen leather care box contain?

The box includes a 250 ml Waldhausen glycerine leather soap, designed to clean and care for saddles, bridles and smooth leather. Its moisturising formula cleans, cares for and protects the leather. A sponge is included with the soap for easy application.

It also contains a 500 ml Waldhausen colourless leather grease. It penetrates quickly into the leather to nourish, soften and condition it while helping to waterproof it. It is particularly suitable for dull leather that is starting to lose its suppleness.

The 500 ml Waldhausen leather oil provides more intensive care for smooth leather. Nourishing, softening and waterproofing, it is particularly useful for dry, dull leather that lacks suppleness, as well as for preparing a new bridle before its first use.

Finally, a Waldhausen leather care sponge completes the box and makes caring for your equipment easier. The colour is selected at random.

How should you use the products in the box?

For regular cleaning, use the glycerine soap with a damp sponge, then wipe away any excess with a clean, dry cloth. Once the leather is clean and dry, the colourless leather grease can be applied in a thin, even layer using a soft cloth to nourish the leather and help maintain its suppleness.

The leather oil should be used more occasionally. Apply a thin, even layer to clean, dry leather using a brush and allow it to penetrate thoroughly. If necessary, repeat the treatment until the leather is saturated, taking particular care around stitching and cut edges, then polish with a soft, clean and dry cloth. Shake the oil well before use.
