: The BR Equestrian Drop cheek is an anatomically designed single jointed that offers a comfortable contact. It allows a good relaxation of your horse's mouth thanks to its copper alloy and a smoother transmission of your aids. Unlike the double jointed which acts on the tongue, the single jointed acts on the palate and the sides of the tongue. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. It can be recommended for horses that are relatively easy but sensitive in the mouth, not very sensitive on the palate or with a hollow palate.
The Drop cheek bit, with its upper branches, has a slightly lowering effect on the neck. The upper branches of the baucher provide a slight lateral framing which helps to improve steering. It helps to achieve good tension in the back and better control.
