Expert opinion
: The SARA Baby Fulmer bit is a straight bit with a titanium tongue. The curve of the barrel provides space for the horse's tongue and allows the bit's pressure points on the tongue, commissures and bars to be slightly divided. The straight barrel allows a more symmetrical contact of the bit on the horse's mouth. This helps the horse to come into contact and function better in locomotion. The rigid contact of the metal nevertheless limits the risk of excessive tension. The choice of titanium helps to relax the horse and makes the bit relatively light. The Fulmer offers lateral support while allowing a discontinuous contact in the reins thanks to the free ring.
Material
Titanium : The titanium alloy has several advantages. First of all, it is an ultra-light bit that is soft to the touch, which makes it more discreet for the horse and therefore more comfortable. It helps to relieve tension in the cervical region. Titanium is relaxing, it promotes the production of saliva, which helps to relax the neck muscles. The titanium is covered with dioxide which makes it anti-bacterial.
