Sensitive mouth corners or bit contact that feels too firm may require a few adjustments. This box offers two complementary approaches: the Trust balm cares for the mouth corners by moisturising and protecting sensitive areas, while Sealtex wraps directly around the bit to create a softer contact surface, reduce friction or slightly increase the thickness of the mouthpiece. Riders can therefore adapt its use according to their horse's individual sensitivities and encourage more comfortable contact.

What does the Trust mouth comfort box contain?

The box includes a Trust mouth corner balm, formulated to soothe irritation and moisturise dry areas. It creates a protective barrier around the corners of the lips and supports the recovery of minor lesions and cracks. It can be used daily, particularly before and after riding, to help maintain the suppleness of this area frequently exposed to contact with the bit.

It also contains a pack of Trust Sealtex bit wrap containing 2 x 60 cm rolls. Made from 100% latex, Sealtex is highly elastic and adheres to itself when stretched. It can be cut to the required length and wrapped around all or part of the bit. This creates a softer contact surface, helps reduce friction or increases the thickness of the mouthpiece. Sealtex does not absorb water, does not become heavier during use and leaves no residue on the bit.

How should you use the products in the box?

Apply a small amount of Trust balm to the corners of the horse's lips before and after riding. It can be used daily, particularly for horses whose mouth corners tend to become dry, sensitive or easily irritated.

To use Sealtex, cut the required length and gently stretch the wrap as you wind it around all or the desired part of the bit so that it adheres to itself. The amount of material used allows you to adjust the resulting thickness. On average, the wrap can remain effective for around one week, although its lifespan depends on the horse and use. Its condition should therefore be checked regularly and the wrap replaced whenever necessary.
