Expert opinion
: The KilPenn Light neck protector is made of two anatomical, adjustable pads, the volume of which can be adjusted to best fit your horse and bridle. Designed to release the nuchal ligament and free the ears, KilPenn offers real comfort and improves relaxation.
The advantages of the KilPenn :
- It fits all bridles, ear cutout and adjustable length.
- It eliminates any contact with the neck, frees the and the nuchal ligament.
- The cutting, the assembly and the machine stitching is made in Brittany, near Vannes.
How to adjust it ?
Put a halter on your horse and move the headpiece back. Take your KilPenn and adjust the length between the two parts with the central strap. The KilPenn should follow the curve of the horse's ears. Don't forget to check for symmetry.
Lower your bit and noseband posts by two holes on your bridle and install the KilPenn on the headpiece. You can now put the bridle on your horse and adjust the settings of your bits.
If your headstall is narrow, you can wrap the Velcro around the headstall for extra support. If your horse has a wide ear base, you can adjust the curvature of the KilPenn by cutting or bending the gripping part of the scratch and pulling back the soft part.
