Weymouth bit: Small or large cheeks. If the bit is with slide cheek it will have a more relaxing action. The tongue's way is sticking out to avoid any pinching. This Saumur Weymouth bit has slightly sliding cheeks and is a little softer than the Lhotte one. The thin mouthpiece and the port give a slightly stronger and direct action than larger mouthpiece. The Weymouth bits are only used combined with a bradoon bit and a double bridle or with a double bridle bit connector that can be added to any bridle. The longer the shanks, the more leverage the bit will have.
Material: German silver: 65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel, relaxing and solid alloy.
