Expert opinion
Expert's Opinion: The Feeling Liverpool straight tongue bit has many advantages thanks to its alloy and barrel shape. It provides comfort for horses with sensitive mouths that find it difficult to tense up. The anatomy of the bit offers maximum space for the tongue, and its tongue passage allows optimum distribution of pressure on the bars, tongue and commissures. A straight bit ensures symmetrical left/right contact between hand and mouth, and eliminates any risk of pinching the tongue. All these elements will enable the horse to gain confidence in its mouthpiece, to come to rest and stretch itself.
Rigid resin prevents your horse from leaning too much on the bit, while encouraging contact. Soft resin encourages the horse to tense up. A horse's light contact with the bit will help to improve locomotion by engaging the hindquarters.
The Liverpool bit is commonly used for driving. Its leverage is important. The lower the reins are attached to the bit, the greater the leverage created, and the more severe the bit. The curb chain allows you to fine-tune the bit's leverage: the tighter it is, the stronger its action. It distributes the pressure on the mandible. We recommend using curb chain protectors for sensitive horses.

Material
Resin : The resin in Feeling bits is smooth. It has a metal shaft which ensures the different flexibilities of the bit to guarantee the solidity of the bit while the resin allows to bring comfort to the horse. Where it is important for the horse to salivate a little on rough materials to avoid irritation, the Innosense resin is smooth and soft to the touch and can even be considered for horses that have difficulty salivating. It is made from a plastic material for food use.
Caution : This material is vulnerable and is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear and tear due to biting. We strongly advise against using a bit that is too damaged, as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
