Expert opinion
: The FRIDA two-ring bit is a double snaffle bit with a slight tongue loop. It is an interesting bit for a sensitive horse, which does not want to keep contact with the bit. FRIDA follows the natural shape of the mouth with a short centre piece that lies flat on the tongue and eliminates interference from the palate. A horse with a sensitive tongue will begin to accept contact and be more willing to work. Frida's wings protect your horse's mouth from the pressure of the rings. The rings give excellent and quick contact through the loose rings without exerting constant pressure on one side by bending. If the horse puts or pulls on the bit, the rings lock and function as a fixed ring. It can be used in two different ways:
- Logo on the right side of your horse. This way the mouthpiece will lock and not have a forward lock. The plate will be angled against the tongue and create more pressure.
- Logo on the left side of your horse. This way the mouthpiece will lock forward. The plate will lie flat against the tongue.
Material
Titanium : The titanium alloy has several advantages. First of all, it is an ultra-light bit that is soft to the touch, which makes it more discreet for the horse and therefore more comfortable. It helps to relieve tension in the cervical region. Titanium is relaxing, it promotes the production of saliva, which helps to relax the neck muscles. The titanium is covered with dioxide which makes it anti-bacterial.
