Expert opinion : The Metalab rubber free ring bit is an anatomically designed bit that offers a simple and comfortable contact. It allows a good relaxation of your horse's mouth thanks to its rubber alloy and by a smooth transmission of your aids. Unlike the double snaffle bit which acts on the tongue, the single snaffle bit acts on the palate. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. It can be recommended for horses that are relatively sensitive but easy on the palate, not very sensitive or with a hollow palate. The "pinchless" joint is a mechanism that prevents involuntary pinching of the tongue or corners of the mouth. It allows the bit to never constrain the movements of the tongue. It dissociates the rider's hand actions. It helps to provide confidence for the horse in the rider's hand. It improves the connection and relaxation of the horse. Loose rings offer a soft contact to the mouth. They allow for a slight indirect contact compared to fixed rings, which makes it easier to play in the fingers and limit excessive tension. The snaffle of this bit has the particularity of protecting the lips' comissures.

Stainless steel : Stainless steel is a very common material that does not oxidise. Due to their nature, stainless steel bits are very solid and do not damage over time. This bit is covered by rubber. Rubber bits are vulnerable and can quickly become damaged, depending on your horse's teeth.

Caution : Rubber is a vulnerable material and is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear and tear due to biting. We strongly advise against using a bit that is too damaged, as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
