It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. The copper roller allows the horse to relax and to concentrate more on his mouthpiece. It also helps to avoid passing the tongue in some horses. It is recommended for young horses that tend to freeze on their bits. The bit with needles allows a better channeling of the horse. The needles placed on both sides of the mouth act on the nose, allow better control of lateral flexion in a young horse and make this bit more directional.
