Expert opinion : The Pessoa roller bit from Zilco is a double bit with a simple contact. It allows a better relaxation of your horse's mouth by a more accurate transmission of your aids. Unlike the single bit which acts on the palate, the double bit acts on the tongue without causing pain. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. The copper roller allows the horse to relax and to concentrate more on the mouthpiece. It also helps to avoid passing the tongue in some horses. Its action is similar to the Pessoa but with a more direct action. The Pessoa bit has a lowering effect. The reins can be hooked in a fixed way on the bottom ring or with rings on the middle and bottom ring.
Stainless steel : Stainless steel is a commonly used alloy which has the particularity of not oxidizing. Because of their nature, stainless steel jaws are very solid and do not get damaged over time. The break of this bit is made of copper.
