The Metalab olive leather bit is a double anatomical bit that offers a comfortable contact. It allows a good relaxation of your horse's mouth thanks to its leather alloy and a smoother transmission of your aids. Unlike the single bit which acts on the palate, the double bit acts on the tongue without causing pain. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. The olive bit has oval rings. They only rotate along one axis of rotation, which avoids any pinching of the corner of the mouth.
Material
Leather : Leather is a natural material that is very pleasant for the horse and stimulates chewing and salivation. It avoids the cold contact of some metal bits. The production of saliva softens the leather and makes it more pleasant for the horse.
Caution : This material is vulnerable and is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear and tear due to biting. We strongly advise against using a bit that is too damaged, as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
