Expert opinion : The Loose Ring allow for immediate release and relief from tongue and bar pressure. The bit is immediately reset to a neutral position in the horse’s mouth. Our snaffles are popular due to the shaped mouthpiece which distributes pressure evenly over tongue and bars while reducing the nutcracker action. The offset center link avoids a usual pressure point on the tongue. The nutcracker action results in the horse lifting its head, therefore offers a solution for the horse that runs with its head down. The nutcracker action, pinches the bars and tongue, lifting its head. The offset centre link avoids a pressure point on the tongue. The ergonomic shape offers a generous curve following the shape of the horse’s mouth.

Sweet Iron : Sweet Iron alloy oxidizes upon contact with moisture in the mouth and air. The oxidation brings a sweet taste that naturally stimulates the production of saliva. This corresponds to the effect of a sugar that is given to the horse at the beginning of the session but allows to diffuse this sweet taste throughout the work. Therefore, this alloy allows a good acceptance of the bit and helps the horse to make contact with the mouthpiece. The oxidation modifies the aspect of the bit during the sessions.
