Unlike the single bit which acts on the palate, the double bit acts on the tongue without causing pain. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. It can be recommended for ponies that are relatively easy in the mouth and in the direction. The olive bit has oval-shaped rings. They only rotate along one axis of rotation, which prevents any pinching of the corner of the mouth.
