Expert opinion : Combines effectivly lateral restriction, leverage and pull open effect in one bit. The level of control depends on the different rings. This changes the length of the lever. The 3-ring bit is often used to test the horses reaction to leverage. When used with a second rein, it is similar to a regular eggbutt or loose ring snaffle. The butterfly snaffle, is an absolute innovation in regard of mouth pieces. The anatomically correct form in combination with a broader surface in the tongue area offers this sensitive muscle the optimal amount of room space with a very soft influence at the same time. The horses show their wellbeing with more chewing activity and an increased acceptance of the bit. If an increased effect of the horse's mouth is necessary a leverage acting cheek may be helpful.
Resin : Beris bits are made of resin, with a specially smooth surface that allows the bit to slide into the horse's mouth without the "gumming" effect that traditional resin bits can cause. This material is so smooth and soft to the touch that it can even be considered for horses that have difficulty salivating. This resin is made from a plastic material for food use. A real asset to obtain chewing and a good acceptance of the bit thanks to its soft touch and its ambient temperature.
