Expert opinion : The Waldhausen Pessoa bit is a single bit that offers a simple contact. It allows a good relaxation of your horse's mouth by a smoother transmission of your aids. Unlike the double bit which acts on the tongue, the single bit acts on the palate. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. It can be recommended for horses that are relatively easy on the mouth, not very sensitive on the palate or have a hollow palate. The Pessoa bit has a lowering effect. The reins can be hooked on the bottom ring or with rings on the middle and bottom ring.
