Expert opinion : The Waldhausen double snaffle bit is a double snaffle bit that offers a simple contact. It allows a better relaxation of your horse's mouth by a smoother transmission of your aids. Unlike the single bit which acts on the palate, the double bit acts on the tongue without causing pain. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. The needle bit allows a better channelling of the horse. The needles placed on both sides of the mouth act on the nose, allow better control of lateral flexion in a young horse and make this bit more directive.
Stainless steel : Stainless steel is a commonly used alloy which has the particularity of not oxidising. Due to their nature, stainless steel jaws are very strong and do not get damaged over time.
