Our expert's opinion
These blinkers can be particularly useful for horses that are easily distracted by movement around them, especially at competition venues. Their main benefit lies in a moderate restriction of peripheral vision, which can help the horse remain attentive without completely isolating it from its surroundings. The standout feature is the small fixing pin, which prevents the blinkers from moving along the cheekpieces and ensures more consistent positioning during work. A thoughtfully designed solution from Fager, a brand known for its functional equestrian equipment developed with the horse's comfort in mind.
Description
The Focus blinkers by Fager are designed to help horses stay focused on their work by reducing visual distractions. Practical and easy to attach, they are suitable for both training and competition, encouraging greater attention to the rider's aids.
Improved concentration during riding
Some horses are particularly aware of their surroundings, which can affect their concentration during work. The Focus blinkers help slightly restrict peripheral vision, reducing external distractions and encouraging the horse to pay closer attention to its rider.
This targeted reduction in visual distractions can be particularly useful for horses that are sensitive to movement around the arena or at competition venues. It can support more consistent work and greater responsiveness to the rider's aids.
An innovative fastening system for reliable stability
Unlike conventional blinkers, the Focus blinkers feature a small fixing pin that fits directly into a hole in the bridle's cheekpiece. This clever design helps keep the blinkers securely positioned, preventing them from sliding upwards or downwards during riding.
A secure Velcro fastening completes the system, allowing the blinkers to be easily attached or removed according to the horse's needs, without complicated adjustments.
A practical accessory for training and competition
With their 3 cm width, the Focus blinkers provide a moderate restriction of the horse's field of vision without completely blocking awareness of the surroundings.
FEI-approved, they can also be used in competition in accordance with the regulations applicable to each discipline.
Why choose the Focus blinkers by Fager?
Thanks to their combination of Velcro fastening and a stabilising fixing pin, these blinkers offer a practical solution for riders looking to improve their horse's concentration while benefiting from a stable, discreet and easy-to-use accessory.
Fewer distractions, greater focus and a secure fit throughout every ride.
