Amsterdam Bridle

Bridle decorated with silver clinchers on the noseband and browband.

The crownpiece features an air channel over the top of the neck to provide maximum freedom for sensitive nerve pathways, muscle attachments, and ligaments connecting at the poll. It also has built-up, softly padded edges with anatomical shaping around the ears. At the top, there is also a cut-out to evenly distribute pressure over the entire headpiece. The cheekpieces include Cradles™ elastic inserts, allowing the bit to suspend gently in the horse’s mouth, reducing pressure on the poll. The browband is lined with rubber on the inside to help keep it securely in place.

MATERIAL & CARE

Spanish, vegetable-tanned leather.

Each bridle is a unique, handcrafted piece. We recommend treating it with leather oil before the first use to protect and preserve the high leather quality. Leather is a natural material that evolves over time and may darken slightly when oiled.
