Expert opinion : The Metalab double snaffle bit is a double snaffle bit that offers a pleasant contact. It allows a good relaxation of your horse's mouth by a smooth transmission of your aids. Unlike the single bit which acts on the palate, the double bit acts on the tongue without causing pain. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. As its name indicates, it is associated with a bridle bit. Its barrel is thin which allows the horse not to have too much material in the mouth and therefore to be able to close the mouth for a good stability. The olive bit has oval rings. They only rotate along one axis of rotation, which avoids any pinching of the corners of the mouth.
