The middle of the bit is made of copper alloy, which gives the horse a pleasant taste when it comes into contact with the mouth, stimulating chewing and salivation. This bit is recommended for horses that have difficulty relaxing. The free rings offer a soft contact to the mouth. They allow a slight indirect contact compared to fixed rings, which makes it easier to play in the fingers and limits excessive tension.
