Expert opinion : The myler level 3 bit is a barrel bit with a large tongue passage that does not bend. The central cylinder and the arched shape of the barrels allow a good distribution of the pressure in the horse's mouth. This prevents the tongue from being subjected to too much pressure. It prevents the risk of tongue pinching. Compared to the level 1 model, the tongue passage frees up more space for the tongue and is particularly interesting to use on a horse with a thick and/or sensitive tongue. It is worn in a slightly adjusted position so that the tongue passage does not interfere with the palate of the horse. It therefore allows the horse to come to rest on its mouthpiece. It allows a very good communication thanks to the anatomical shape of the barrel, the stability of the bit (thanks to the blocking of the barrel), and the frank and precise contact of the stainless steel barrel. The demands are clear and precise. It is therefore suitable for many horses and especially for horses in training. The free rings offer a slightly dyscontinuous contact which is interesting for horses that can wriggle a bit on the reins. This allows for play in the fingers. It also offers a disymmetrical action by allowing one side of the barrel to rotate independently of the other which is interesting for horses that have one shoulder that does not fit as well as the other.

Stainless steel : Stainless steel is a commonly used alloy which has the particularity of not oxidizing. Because of their nature, stainless steel jaws are very solid and do not get damaged over time.
