Expert's opinion: The Feeling universal resin bit is a single jointed with a simple contact. It allows your horse's mouth to relax and your aids to be transmitted more gently. Unlike the double jointed, which acts on the tongue, the single jointed acts on the palate. It's important to remember that a horse's palate is a sensitive area that must not be neglected. It can be recommended for horses that are relatively easy in the mouth, not very sensitive on the palate or with a hollow palate. 

The Universal bit has a lowering effect. The reins can be fixed to the bottom ring, or attached with rings to the middle and bottom rings. It can be used with rings (not included with the bit) or a second pair of reins (not included with the bit) according to the rider's preference.
