The Alain Venter G2 double snaffle bit consists of a pessoa type bit and a leather strap that exerts pressure on both the chin and the muzzle via the noseband. When the tension of the reins is important, to relieve the mouth, the action of the hand is sent back to the front and back of the noseband. This keeps the horse calm, while increasing the bounce of the gaits and the control. It allows the horse to be tilted onto the hindquarters while maintaining a high level of tension. It can be used with two or four reins or alliances. The pressure on the back of the neck is less than with a pessoa bit because of the action of the strap. This bit is used with a crossed noseband to attach the leather strap.
Material
Resin : The barrel is made of a rigid resin and a central olive in cyprium. The resin offers a softer contact that encourages relaxation. It provides an ambient temperature that is particularly appreciated in winter. It offers a soft contact but less soft and thick than a rubber bit. The copper olives allow the horse to relax and salivate.
Caution : This material is vulnerable and is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear and tear due to biting. We strongly advise against using a bit that is too damaged, as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
